Greenland is obviously not all green or lush with vegetation, but we've been using its quirky name these days in our capitalism stew of eco-activism flowery.

"Don't make acid rain, or Greenland will become grey."

Such subtle relationships between politics in our post French Revolution populism era and cultural communication reveals a certain advantage for marketing eco-consciousness Hollywood (USA) movies such as "FernGully: The Last Rainforest" (1992) as consumption propaganda symbols.
