#1 The shooter knows he has a concealed weapon. Therefore he needs to stay away from confrontation and not initiate an argument. It's not his job to enforce the parking laws. (George Zimmerman comes to mind here) Call 911 if he feels the need.

#2 Don't push people. You never know who the other guy is and what he's capable of. Not to mention the shooter wasn't being physically aggressive at the moment. At that moment the guy who got shot was wrong.

However:

#3 The obvious, a push does not equal a gun shot. The shooters life was not in danger and he initiated the confrontation. It's more likely his pride was hurt.

Not at all there is something known as 'body language' and the expert witness on that subject testified that the black dude was not backing away. He was merely re-positioning himself.

The trial should be on video ...watch it.

The video first shows the black thug knocking Drejka down and after knocking him down he immediately starts to advance towards Djerka again....he only makes a step or two when Drejka manages to get his weapon out. Then the thug when he sees the weapon come out.... takes a step or two backwards but he is not retreating according to expert testimony. Merely re-positioning himself.

He should have taken off running and might still be alive today.

What you and some others seem not to understand is that the video was slowed down...in real time all this happened very,very quickly. Drejka had been dazed by the attack, his arm injured and he most likely was in a mild state of shock not even seeing his attacker approaching him and blindsiding him...thus his observation of what was going on was not the best. He was in fear of his life and only had a couple of seconds to make a life or death decision thus he was highly motivated to pull the trigger and with good reason. Anyone who values their life would have done the same.
