I AM rather curious about this issue. IMO, these people took this too far.

But do we REALLY want government regulating the internet?

No. I think that government should not regulate the Internet. Yet, I do believe that people were lied about and threatened should sue for every dime that they can get.

I don’t know what you men by believing on apple pie. I like apple pie. I like truth and justice. The term “American Way” is nebulous and subjective. It depends on what you mean by the American way.

If people would act like decent human being this kind of crap wouldnt happen.

There are those who seem to think calling names and making up lies about others is some way to "get even".

Its just amazing to me how petty some people are.

I guess that will never change?

I hate the idea of making the internet less free but I feel for the young lady.

Some men just cant seem to get that threatening to rape someone is beyond the pale.

The internet is going to become the market square and just like the market square you wont be able to slander and threaten without getting caught.
In the mean time the net will become much less free.

Thanks to those who just cant figure out how to be decent human beings.

Government regulates and monitors the internet in the USA as well. And the regulation level will grow with time.
