G-d said, Let US make man in OUR image.

Angels are not made in the image of G-d or man. They have wings and vary in size, height, etc. G-d is a triune being. Therefore G-d could not possibly have been speaking to angels. We are not made in the image of angels. We are made in the image of G-d.

G-d the Father who SPOKE the WORD ( Jesus Christ ) and all things were made through Him ( Genesis 1 & John Chapter 1 confirms ) The Holy Spirit who hovered over the face of the deep ( Genesis 1 ) The Spirit of G-d - is part of the trichotomy of G-d. G-d is a trichotomy and so are we. We are a spirit, living in a body and we have a soul ( seat of mind, will, emotions ) Yes. We are made in the image of G-d and it was the Word and His Own Spirit who He confers with in that passage of scripture. Not angels. G-d is One. 1 x 1 x 1 = 1. Not three.
