Curious, why do Libertarians only seem to care about the federal government?

maybe you can go look at the glen beck site what he wants you to think about madison

see folks they will do ANYTHING to avoid discussing things using their own brains

Some, who have not denied the necessity of the power of taxation, have grounded a very fierce attack against the Constitution, on the language in which it is defined. It has been urged and echoed, that the power “to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises, to pay the debts, and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the United States,” amounts to an unlimited commission to exercise every power which may be alleged to be necessary for the common defense or general welfare. No stronger proof could be given of the distress under which these writers labor for objections, than their stooping to such a misconstruction.

how about this one KK.

that gives you two to pick from to start it off

Ok, but just copying and pasting quotations is not a discussion. If you want to discuss these quotes then you're going to have to actually make a point about them that I can respond to.

Kevin, are you REALLY trying to have a rational discussion with an irrational person?
