Darfur Will Be Free of Rebellions by End of February

The government aims to free Darfur of any rebellions by the end of February.
The National Assembly Speaker affirmed the control of the Sudan Armed Forces (SAF) over all the battlefields.
Dr. El-Fateh Ezzeldin pointed to SAF's advance in the fields to sweep the rebellion in the State.
Meanwhile, the National Assembly in its session yesterday, endorsed the elections bill (2015 amendments), Customs, and Auditor-General laws in the general features sage.
Several MPs called on all political forces to participate in the upcoming elections which will include the Sudanese working abroad besides the increase of States' Council Seats to three, including a female.
For his part, MP Al-Hadi Mohammed Ali described the Auditor-General Law as aiming to strengthen the good governance represented by valuing high the transparency and the preservation of public money.
The National Assembly Speaker said that the practice of the Auditor-General resulted in the control over the public money and punishing of the violators.
Meanwhile, the Minister at the Council of Ministers, Ahmed Saad Omer tabled before the Assembly the Judicial agreement between Sudan and Morroco, Agricultural Agreement between Sudan and Turkey, Customs' Exchange Assistance between Sudan and Ghana, and Anti-counterfeiting Head Office for discussion and endorsement.
