The popular vote thus far stands about 22.5 mil for the gop and a shade of 18 mil for the dems. But I suspect Bernie's numbers will not keep up as we get near the end. And Hillary has over 1.5 million more votes than Trump.

Yeah, the OP's a fail. But I'm not sure the vote totals show anything. No way are the dems pulling in the numbers they did in 2008. BUT when it's all said and done, Hillary may have the roughly 17 million votes she had in 2008, and that will be significantly more than any goper has gotten. But I'm not sure that says anything. Some say Donald is poison with the indeps, but then again his support may come as much from outside registered gopers as in the party. And that may be true of Bernie's too.

I was at the gym getting dressed for work, and Scott Brown was on Fox. He was saying Trump's and Hillary's negatives are so high, that it may come down to who has the best ground game/organization, and he gave Trump the nod, which gave me a chuckle.
