Sure they can. McCarthy is already out their yapping about "no we're not going to impeach FJB". I don't care if they do or don't but he has to know a lot of people will be voting with the expectation of payback. McCarthy could have given a BS none answer to a question on impeachment, but when he babbles on about people being more concerned about other things many people are going to hear "business as usually".

No impeachment means no vote for a lot of republicans.
WTF does McCarthy expect to do all day if no impeachment and no committee investigations into the Biden crime family?
Maybe McCarthy needs to step aside and let Jim Jordan be speaker?
