Where exactly does the Federal Government get the power to mandate ANYTHING to a local police department? It can try to bribe departments with federal funds, but the Constitution prevents direct control of state, county and local governments by D.C.. Trump couldn't do it, and Biden won't even try. Look at all the shenanigans D.C. went through to get all the states to enforce a 55 MPH speed limit in Carter's day. The feds threatened and, I believe, actually withheld highway funds from states to blackmail them into compliance. I don't think Montana ever gave in.

Big corporations, or any business for that matter, don't pay taxes. They just pass that cost on to consumers. And Federal services SHOULD be cut. Ninety percent of what the Federal Government does violates the Tenth Amendment of the Constitution.

I speak French and have a Masters in French Civilization.the French wonder how we can be so confused about the difference between socialism and communism. They have had both parties and they know the difference. Just like most other foreign language speaking countries. And socialism is democratic and communism isn't period in the real world.

There is no demand in the real world for someone with a Masters in French Civilization. You choice of a degree explains your attitudes. You should have spent the money on a Engineering, Medical or even a Law degree.

I have a couple of "friends" who aren't really my friends anymore, one male and one female who went for a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering. There's a PE or "Professional Engineer" that goes with that degree course instead of a "traditional" master's or doctorate degree. Both were close to me, childhood friends, but neither ever married, and they apparently did not have any social contact with each other whatsoever.

The "Bachelor's" degree, never married, avid socialites --- they're not having sex but they made it their life's occupation to regulate who or what people like me are allowed to see or not allowed to see.

I have "bachelor's" degrees myself in Mathematics and Computer Science --- they don't let me marry in their church either --- it's either ovarian cancer or they call it a "nut job" and commit me to the mental hospital --- which in that religion is an absolute prohibition against lawful marriage. I had a scholarship from an excellent 3.5 GPA in high school, but I "struggled" on the college campus drug/party/sex scene, and only made a 3.0 GPA, which was not quite good enough to find work in the professional world, but at the same time left me "overqualified" for the blue-collar employment market --- and in any case the doors were slammed shut with a criminal trespass order to boot wherever I applied or could have applied to work.

Start my own business? With no money? No work experience with an already established business? Not a chance.
