He is making assumptions.

And those two Americans that died in the morning mortar attack were from a rescue team sent from Tripoli to the CIA annex!

That was the same plane that the special forces team was prepared to board when they were ordered to stand down. Which would you rather have show up if you needed help. the military, or a State Department team?
