The honey bee contributes to a third of the country’s food supply but the population is declining. Last year eight percent of the bees disappeared according to the American Beekeepers Federation. The situation was more severe between 2015 and 2016 when there was a 44 percent decrease in colonies. Dr. Dennis vanEngelsdorp, the President of the Bee Informed Partnership, says if this trend continues it could limit the food American’s eat. “If we didn’t have honey bees, we certainly

Honey bees have been in danger for quite sometime. There is a saying that goes.................. When they bees die mankind dies.

Science fruitcakes have come up with drone bees as if they think replacing the natural cycle of nature is going to work oh so well.

Hoax.

First of all, the honey bees in question used for mass crops are the European honey bees not even native to North America. The bee keepers keep the bees pumped with drugs to counteract the effects of the many pesticides used on crops, most of the crops not being indigenous to North America either, have to artificially be kept alive as well.

Second, these bee farms are actually used in multiple areas of the country. Once they are used to pollenate crops in California, they are then transported up the coast, then to the Midwest. They are transported in horrible conditions which kill many of them off, causing bacteria and disease to spread in the colonies. So what do the bee keepers do? Pump more drugs into the bees.

They should just start using the "Africanized" honey bees since they are much more resilient and don't need all the drugs to keep them alive. It may be an annoyance for the bee keepers, since they have to wear protective gear, but it's better for the crops and it produces better honey. If they can ever genetically engineer a hybrid to get the resilience of the African bee without the aggressiveness, that would solve much of the problems.

Or could they be pulling a stunt claiming they are endangered ( as they are global warming) so they can herd the people into a certain living standard that once again controls what we the people can or can not do allowing that moron Monsanto to use his cancer causing bs on us all. Other countries have banned GMO too not the US dumping grounds of bs of course.
