Trump Vs. Harris: New 2024 Election Poll Shows Outlier For Former President With 3-Point Lead, RFK Jr. Backing Could Add To Margin

  • A new 2024 election poll shows Donald Trump with a lead over Kamala Harris.
  • The poll also shows the impact Robert Kennedy Jr. dropping out of the race could have on future polls.
A new 2024 election poll may be an outlier in the head-to-head matchup between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris with Trump leading 10 weeks before the 2024 presidential election.

What Happened: Since Harris became the Democratic Party candidate, which was officially confirmed with her nomination at the DNC, she has led many polls.

But one poll that differs is from conservative-leaning firm Rasmussen. The newest Rasmussen poll shows Trump with a lead. Here's the latest, with the previous poll results in parentheses.

Donald Trump: 49% (49%)
Kamala Harris: 46% (45%)

The poll shows 2% of voters undecided and 2% of voters saying they would vote for another candidate. With the poll expanded beyond the head-to-head options, the results were:

Donald Trump: 47%
Kamala Harris: 45%
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: 4%

The poll was conducted between Aug. 15 and Aug. 21 and came before the Democratic National Convention had been completed and before Kennedy suspended his campaign, two key political events for the week.

Kamala is sinking... and she can't recover....
Says Rasmussen.

Bible says be careful how you treat other people.

Lord knows those democrats treated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. horrible. They would not let him run for president with their blessing, refused to let him debate, they refused to give him any presidential candidate secret service security, etc...

The one(s) you mistreat in life will make or break you.

Those democrats kept on hitting Robert F. Kennedy Jr. where it hurt him personally.

He hit them right back where it hurts them as he dropped his Trump endorsement one day after their DNC ended. In football that's a perfectly thrown hail mary, in basketball its a cross court 3-point winner at the buzzer, and in baseball thats a game winning home run with all bases loaded. "Sweet"

RFK Jr. held the balance that swings the pendulum to all of the swing states.

So, let me get this straight

A Rasmussen Poll shows Trump ahead

Shocking, just shocking

Donald Trump's Lead More Than Halved With Conservative Pollster

Published Aug 23, 2024

A new survey by conservative-leaning polling company Rasmussen, conducted between August 18 and 21, showed that Trump was leading Kamala Harris by 3 points among 1,893 likely voters, on 49 percent to her 46 percent. The poll had a margin of error of +/- 2 percentage points.

That is less than half of the 7-point lead he had over Harris in July, when Rasmussen's poll, conducted between July 22 and 24, put him on 50 percent of the vote to Harris' 43 percent.

Meanwhile, in the space of a week, Trump's lead has decreased by one point, according to the latest poll. A poll conducted between August 11 and 14 put Trump on 49 percent while Harris was on 45 percent.

Newsweek has contacted the Trump campaign for comment via email.

The latest poll may come as a surprise to Trump, who often posts Rasmussen Reports polls, which AllSides media bias rating shows as "lean right," to his Truth Social account which demonstrate his lead over Harris.

Trump is going to run away with this election....

No doubt. Polls showing Harris leading among women is definitely off because women are more likely to not be truthful. Also when things get closer to the election and they're accepting the reality of the economy and national security they will vote TRUMP.

Maybe she shouldn't have shown up to her convention.... OOPS...

So, polls are not fake this week like you all were saying they were last week?

So damn hard to keep up with you people and your nonstop flip flopping
