Abortion is part of one’s right to one’s own body, it is imo Constitutional. The right to bear arms is a Constitutional right, so no state can outright ban it (or abortion). That doesn’t mean there are no limits that states can impose on either and that would include recognizing reciprocity for example, or restricting abortion after fetal viability.

You progs always skip over one little detail when you pull out the “right to my own body” defense: There’s another life at stake.

Because, there's a part of the brain that's literally missing, the connections arent there. So like, if you can live with yourself after killing your baby, my take is, one of two things must be true: either, you're so ashamed you simply can't face reality, or, it hasn't registered on your brain, "at all".

Just yesterday I spoke to a liberal, and in addition to her usual moaning about Republicans (to me, knowing I am a Republican), she bemoaned the “fact” that “Trump’s Republican Supreme Court” (her words) may ban abortion. When I corrected her, she said that MSNBC made it sound as though all abortions would be banned.

Listen up: for any of you libtards getting your news through MSNBC, the SCOTUS is not debating a ban. It doesn’t even have that right, just as it didn’t have the fight to force states to make it legal. It is merely debating whether the decision in Roe v Wade was constitutional, and if not, THE DECISION GOES TO THE INDIVIDUAL STATES.

Abortion is one of their panic button issues they have to trot out every time there is a seat to fill on the court.

Abortion will never be banned in the US roughly 85% of the country agrees there needs to be limits on abortion but only a tiny fraction would seek to outlaw it in all cases so it could never pass even at the state level.

2. I'm a man. If I get someone pregnant, 50% of that is my doing. I will NOT force the woman to raise my child on her own. YMMV, and pardon my blunt rhetoric, but I don't care if the Mommy's butt ugly, I'm going to be there for the kid. And that goes the other way too. If she decides to get an abortion without consulting me, I'm going to be "very fucking pissed". There's probably not a lot I could DO about it, which is unfortunate...

Except when you say there’s nothing you can do to help the situation when there are women who get repeated abortions, or who have abortions past the point of viability, you are focusing are “helping” the women who do it: maybe being there as a friend, and still ignoring that a life was taken.

The way you CAN help the situation, which added to other people’s efforts, is to ensure that restrictions are placed on this via your vote. There is now legislation being considered in Maryland that would prevent any action being taken against a woman when her baby dies - not only pre-natal but PERI-natal, which can mean up to 28 days AFTER birth!!.

There was also a doctor in Virginia whose botched abortion attempt resulted in the “emergence” of a living baby, and he allowed it to die, saying that it was up to the mother to decide what to do.

The point is, this is a slippery slope. The worst of the leftists have so dehumanized a viable fetus, even after birth, that it is seen as an inconvenience to get rid of - rather than a life being robbed of 80 or 90 years on Earth.

Also, one more point: you talk about psychopaths who torture animals. I know you didn’t mean to call women who have abortions psychopaths, but in some instances, such as women who are OK with late-term abortions of their viable baby or even allowing a BORN baby to starve to death, the term might be apt.

Well, our Constitution is exceedingly clear. It says:

Anyone who is born is a Person (capital P) and has guaranteed political rights, including the right to life.

Period. End of story. The only exception is crimes against society, and no one in their right mind would ever say a baby could commit a crime against society.

True, and the legislation put forth in liberal Maryland to give a wink and a nod to a woman who kills her baby after birth will NOT pass. But the very fact that it has been proposed is a very sad commentary on how far down today’s leftists have fallen.

On an aside, that’s a bit of the socialist mindset coming into play, where people (People) of either end of the life cycle - babies and elderly - are seen as less valuable than prime-age working adults. (It’s why that Emanuel liberal wanted to put elderly at the back of the line for the vaccine - they have no remaining value to society). Similarly, babies are seen as less valuable because the state hasn’t invested in them - education of course, but also government assistance programs - to bring them closer to adulthood.

Sure, there are regulations on both. Like no abortion after fetal viability, or no gun ownership if you've been convicted of certain crimes. I get that. But, you are suggesting that all states should be forced to allow abortions. Fine. Then all states should recognize permit free reciprocity for open carry. Either that or perhaps require people to obtain a permit to get an abortion?

True, but our constitutional says we have the right to bear arms. Bear meaning to carry. Many states require you to obtain permits to open or conceal carry, and some stated outright ban open carry.
