The state had five days of snow and freezing temperatures that is rare and got through it hot weather in Texas during the Summer is normal and we will get through this we do so every year.

I can well understand the snippy defensiveness and desperate attempts at diversion by those who feel compelled to cover for politicians whose stand-alone energy system's failures had resulted in dozens of Texans freezing to death, after which those politicians insisted (again) that they had fixed the problems, after which, at the first sign of a heatwave, there are warnings of system failures with lethal consequences yet again.
