Drop boxes have become key to election conspiracy theories. Two Democrats just fueled those claims

I fully support casting your vote in person as you supply a picture ID confirming your identit.
Who cares what you support?

You want to restrict voting? You want to make it tougher for people to get their honest vote in? Then show some actual evidence of a problem that would solve first.

Republican specialty has been to suppress voting, not solve voting fraud problems.

HOW?

How would someone use your wife's voter roll situation, in conjuction with voting box, to cast an illegal vote?
Ballot requested and sent to her previous address filled out dropped off, it’s not that hard.

Thats one very rare individual vote that could go either way, wtf is that going to change in an election?

Again, the fix is to clean the rolls better, not make it make it more difficult to vote.

It wouldn’t restrict anyone’s vote that wanted to cast one. It would allow honest votes to be cast in a secured manner, the only thing it would suppress is illegally cast votes. Why are you so opposed to that, it’s almost like you want to insure illegal votes can be cast.

Ballot boxes get barcoded and signed ballots that is checked against the voter roll.

That to me that meets the reasonable standard for secure vote, there is no reason here to make voting more difficult.

A few years ago we had an election locally decided by a coin toss because there was a tie. That what one vote could change in an election. I am all for cleaning up the rolls, democrats generally oppose such actions. Asking someone to vote in person with a ID only makes illegal voting more difficult, a goal we all should strive for, it has no impact on an honest vote being cast.

Except Democrat have a history of lowering their standards and can’t be trusted to follow election rules concerning mail in and dropped off ballots. Making illegal votes more difficult should be the goal. No honest votes will be impacted

Your problem with drop off boxes is...mailing date issue someone sued to get a court to address?

"No honest votes will be impacted" by making voting more difficult is a spurious statement.

Absolutely some people will not vote if they feel like they have to jump too many hoops and it's imperative that we do not unescessarily restrict access.

The boxes are part of the lowered standards. Get ride of them and require an in person picture ID vote and you can solve most of the problems. It’s an easy fix to secure the elections, but some people like you seem uninterested in election integrity.

You can try to justify ANY restriction, no matter how unreasonable with such logic.

One vote of a person who stayed home because voting is made to be a pain in the ass can also be such vote.

You could argue that biometric tests should accompany every vote because gowd forbid there is an election changing vote that could happen.
The flip could also be said. There should be vote by phone, any ballot turned In should be counted no matter what’s missing, just because someone isn’t alive does mean their vote shouldn’t count, or we need more drop off locations all designed to lesson election security.

Ridiculous argument. Such standards would not pass "reasonably secured".

We have barcode and signature that are tested to match against voter roll. That is reasonably secure.

Not as ridiculous as saying a ballot box is somehow reasonably secured.
