CAIRO, May 11 (Aswat Masriya) - Egyptian heart surgeon turned award-winning television show host Bassem Youssef will be hosting the 43rd International Emmy Awards in New York, the event organisers said on Monday.

Well, considering that the Batman (DC Comics) vigilantism-fantasy comic book adapted television series "Gotham" (Fox TV) has received nomination nods for visuals, costumes, and sound editing, even though it was overlooked for acting (i.e., Robin Lord Taylor, Donal Logue), it's interesting that we have a politicized thrill for the Emmys in the year that comic book media really exploded into TV and the box office.

After all, vigilantism-themed storytelling is the hallmark of 'modern medicine.' Besides, Andy Samberg is the more worthy host.
