Better value at the moment and you might sensibly bet the Netherlands for a win even though they are not a patch on the great teams of their recent past and even though the Rumbletonians are fast improving .

The only way I saw any "VALUE" whatsoever was to parlay the two bets. England was ~-600 to win? Spain similar? It is hard to get any payback. I want to bet the games I am watching on TV also.

You are a gambler whereas I am a professional .

The object over time is to reduce the number of bets per year whilst increasing your returns on a real and percentage basis .

My last great trainer constantly badgered me when I was younger to have only three serious bets a year and those would be ones where I never lost .
A correct philosophy .
And he is absolutely right though it is difficult advice to follow .

So now I have low tier bets at £100 maximum and a handful of business bets ( say 10 a year) which are maximum at £5000 but with most around £1 to 2000.

And if you lose the midfield for whatever reasons , you immediately make your opponents look far better than they ever will be in other matches where the midfield is shared . For example .

Huh? You can’t make any money like that? Risk $5000 to win a small amount ($500)? 3 times per year? Huh? Whats the point? There are few sure bets available if any? If there are, they are 1:10 at least.

I enjoyed the thrill-entertainment. So yes, I was a Gambler. During American football I may bet 10 games, bets during each Quarter on BBall and Football. I’ve spent a lifetime knowing those games. Baseball is very difficult, and slow. I lost some bets during the playoffs, WS.

I recently migrated more “your way”. I call it looking for “low hanging fruit”. Bet a lot, win a little. UGH!

ENG & Spain were as close to sure things as I could find. My GAMBLE was adding in an attempt to predict the overall scoring max. Missed Spain by one. But a loss is a loss.

Internet talk. Where “you” find 6:1 positive payback (bet $100, collect $700 back) huh? And “you” never lose. I call BS. You’re so rich you can risk your home to win $1000? Lol! Doubtful.

You can find bets $100 to win $10 (collect $110) that are probable secure? If you bet enough of those…..and hit them all lol! You can come out ahead a small amount. Invest huge, payback is bigger. You lose one…..there goes your investment. Maybe its the English laungauage barrier and I am not understanding?

Try and use your brain and imagination because that is the way to beat the bookmakers .
