They were at the peak in the 1920s i think, where the klan was really nation-wide very strong. I know they do not have the influence anymore, not even whites as whole have the influence or majority numbers they used to have. in another few decades whites might be a minority.The Klan in the US has none of the influence they had when the group was the militant arm of the Democratic Party.
