Fake burger bans and other people's masks: Republicans crawl deeper into their imaginary victimhood

“In the real world, there are real problems that serious people are worried about: global pandemic, climate change, economic inequality, systematic racism, mass shootings, and gendered violence, just to name a few. The problem for Republicans, of course, is that they are, quite literally, on the wrong side of pretty much each of those issues, and spend their time either actively making problems worse or getting in the way of people who want to fix things.”

Exactly.

Please clarify...are you talking about Mr Potatohead or Dr Seuss here?
The corporatist woketard moonbat left made issues about Mr. Potatohead and Dr. Seuss....Righties merely mocked you cranks for being the shallow, virtue signaling, narcissists that you are.
Haha...yeah...that's exactly how it happened.

Exactly.
First our meat and then they'll come for our cheese. It's EXACTLY like the Holocaust warning.

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

The idiot Biden was the only world leader with a mask on and without his country's flag In the background in a zoom call with about 20 other leaders. Exactly the kind of shit that Obama did repetitively that caused Trump to elected.

Exactly.

I was already tired of all the RW talk radio hosts lies, and the phony RW TV stories, and the faux personal outrage by RW talking heads LONG before Trump ascended to what he believed to be his throne which turned out to be little more than a reality show presidency brought to the American people thanks to the electoral college which has, with the help of the Supreme Court, managed to overrule the will of the people twice in a 16 year period.

Then Trump took office and lied through his teeth on a daily basis starting on day one. That's when I mostly stopped participating on this message board because I just didn't want to immerse myself in someone else's sewer-like labyrinth of lies. Having said that, it's next to impossible to not see and hear the news even if, like me, you avoid the FOX News daily sewage output. And do you know what? The RW media lying actually got worse because it became more common and more pronounced until it was like having a bad case of tinnitus. You just couldn't get away from it. Hell, FOX News couldn't even contain it anymore because apparently they weren't lying enough for the conservative sycophants. Enter OAN and Newsmax TV to fill the contaminant void.

I have to admit that early on in Trump's reign, I couldn't understand how it was that conservatives couldn't see that he was lying, It took a surprising amount of time, but I finally realized that they simply didn't care that Trump was lying. In fact, Trump's lying only served to embolden ALL conservatives to lie and lie more often until the lying often resembles a satire. Sometimes it's disgusting. Sometimes it's pathetic. Sometimes it's just plain sad. And sometimes, like with the hamburger/beef story, it's actually kind of funny. But it's always vile more so because of what it says about conservatives as opposed to what it says about the human race in general or our society, in particular.

What does it say about conservatives? It shows that they don't really have anything to say at all. In other words, what do you say when you having nothing meaningful to add to the public discourse? Nonsense! Gibberish! Think of a small child prattling on in syllables that aren't words or one of those Pentecostals who stand in church and speak in tongues. They talk the loudest while saying the least, but they insist on having the attention of everyone around them while simultaneously sucking the oxygen out of the air and sucking the life out of everyone who's forced to endure it.

It's no wonder that conservatives are worried about demographic changes and are therefore trying to restrict voting access. They're afraid that, before too long, they'll no longer be able to dominate the discourse and hence will no longer be able to force other people to respond to them.

But that day is coming.
