Parents of poisoned kids have had enough. There are several grass roots organizations springing up to combat the poisoning of of our young people by China, the drug Cartels and Mexico. The leadership of this country has no interest in protecting citizens, so the people are taking up the fight.

I completely agree, but keep in mind that the federal and state governments have been trying to "stop drugs" by way of prohibition enforcement for more than a century now, and have never succeeded even a little bit.

Thus a fair question is "How are they going to stop fentanyl?" A sad but realistic answer is "they cannot".

Some might argue that the situation we find ourselves in regarding dangerous drugs on the street is the RESULT OF 100+ years of prohibition. We learned that lesson with alcohol prohibition, but seem to have forgotten the lesson.

Maybe they ought to make everyone in the Biddum Administration responsible for the border mess take a few hits of fentanyl? They could do a russian roulette kinda thing where you spin and don't know if you are getting just a light dose, heavy, or fatal.

Of course, no one could tell the difference with Corn Pops Biddum.

OP, what government solution do you want implemented for this problem?

It is stopped by ending the distribution. Bomb the laboratories in Mexico. Inspect Chinese ships. Execute distributors, makers and sellers. Realize that this is a real war where Americans are doing all the dying.

China has developed an additive to add to fentanyl. This makes medications like Narcan ineffective. Nothing will be able to stop an overdose death.

Alot of the fentanyl is coming across our open southern border as we speak.

How about mass incarceration for people in possession or use of fentanyl?

Or is it affecting too many who’re people…

How about surgical military strikes on suspected areas overseas that produce this drug.

Collaboration to whack Chinese-sponsored labs in Mexico, beefing up the border, infiltration and surveillance of fentanyl operations inside the U.S. Suggested reading: Lee Morgan, The Reaper's Line.

What you suggest as a solution has been tried for decades. We have defoliated large swaths of Colombia and other countries. We have executed all sorts of distributors, makers and sellers, and imprisoned hundreds of thousands of other people involved in the trade, even as our own CIA has been a major player in the business, as shown by Gary Webb and others including Iran-Contra investigators.

All those measures have failed, as kids on street corners sell illegal drugs, gangs sell illegal drugs and buy guns, illegal drugs are smuggled into prison.

Thanks. Suspect is Fau Chi's son, Hunter Biden's Metabiota, for the earliest uses of xylazine with which to collect virus samples in the field:

1972 WHO Bulletin / Xylazine
'....Xylazine was the drug selected, one reason being that an antagonist is not required.'

Sixty Seconds on Xylazine
'....Nope, never heard of it. That's not surprising, as xylazine is not approved for human use. It's a sedative with some analgesic and muscle relaxant properties for use in horses, dogs and cats.....It was found in 90% of illicit drug samples in Philadelphia in 2021....while users are in a blackout stupor, they are vulnerable to rape and robbery.'

Singapore executes users and sellers. They don't have the drug problem we do. China executes sellers and enslaves users.

We fell off the edge when we decided to treat drug use as a medical problem with a social solution. Average of 300 people a day die of overdose. We did it wrong.

Why are those people not protecting themselves?

Certainly, they've heard about the problems with drug use.
