I wonder if a special prosecutor is legally allowed to earn more than an elected district attorney in Georgia.
If my info is not outdated, I believe that, under Georgia law, an elected district attorney earns the same as the states superior court judges. That’s about $140k per year.

So, if a special prosecutor is supposed to get what an elected DA earns, I wonder if making almost $700k over two years is lawful?
