New Hampshire Dad Charged After Protesting Book

GILFORD, N.H. May 7, 2014 (AP)


A New Hampshire man who refused to stop objecting to a book about bullying read by his daughter's high school English class was charged with disorderly conduct.

Watch out ... freedom of speech is under attack -- again!! Apparently, this father didn't believe that his daughter should be subjected to what he deemed "X rated" material.

"I've never read anything like this," Baer said at the meeting. "It's like the transcript for a triple-X-rated movie."

I wouldn't put my child in most of today's public schools. At least not near the Liberal hot spots (big cities and sprawling suburbs).

If anyone gives this book to a child, they should be put in jail. Watch out for high schools that say that there is nothing wrong with this book.

I read the other link though. The guy had 2 minutes to speak..just like everyone else. He protested his time alotted AND the book then told them to arrest him. So they did.

A man addresses a school board meeting without screaming or destroying. Merely to question pornography assigned to 14 year old as a reading assignment and gets arrested.

2 minutes is hardly enough time to protest X-rated curriculum in a public school. Since the public school is funded by taxpayer money then the offenders need to realize who they work for.

An X rated movie? Is this guy a complete fuck wit or what? Its an excellent book, which deals with bullying. The victim takes matters into his own hands and guns down the bullies. Jodi Picoult is an excellent author, one of my faves.
