Norman Jewison (In the Heat of the Night, Moonstruck, The Cincinnati Kid) directed this perfect Al Pacino vehicle, although you don't get the feeling Pacino needed much directing in this courtroom drama . I think Jewison just wound him up before the cameras started rolling and let him go. Talk about chewing the scenery! By the time the movie wrapped there couldn't have been any wallpaper left on the walls, stipple on the ceiling or carpets on the floor, and all the furniture must have been bite-marked. This clip is badly edited and lousy quality but it'll give you the idea. I loved this movie. Times watched: 25+
