Feel the Bern

Oh and take a look around and notice that you have a POTUS who not only paints himself orange but until three years ago never held a job in his life. As I always said, what a great plan, take a doofus who's never had a job or any position of responsibility at all, including military.. parenting... stiffing investors with bankruptcies... and plunk him into the most responsible job in the world. What a great plan, what could POSSIBLY go wrong.

While it can validly be argued whether or not the presidency is the right job for Donald Trump, how can you legitimately equate Bernie's history to his?

I don't. Not at all.
Sanders has held actual jobs. That seems to be where the OP desperately tries to reach to with his scrape-scrape-scrape of dirt floors in the 1970s.

Trump has built multiple business empires that were very successful along with some that weren't. I don't see how Sanders' "actual" jobs in the past are even a remotely valid comparison.

Rump didn't build shit. He stood still while Daddy stuffed his pockets with cash he scammed from the government. Then he whizzed it away on airlines and casinos and vitamins where you send in your pee and the collapse of the USFL, festooned his name on buildings and then went "I didn't run the company, I only licensed my name", stiffed employees, stiffed creditors, stiffed Stormy Daniels, stiffed the draft with fake doctor notes about astonishingly excellent bone spurs, any way at all to weasel out of responsibilities. Weaseled out of discriminating against black renters too, then did it again, under the tutelage of the Master Weasel Roy Cohn. The asshole has never taken responsibility for a damn thing in his life, can't even bring himself to admit he said "Tim Apple" or snubbed Missouri when Kansas City won a title.

He didn't build shit except that reputation, and it's a damn seedy one.

Having an actual job on the other hand requires presenting one's best self to a prospective employer, knowing one may or may not get that position, and if one does get it having to meet somebody else's expectations continuously, whether one feels like it or not, knowing that if one doesn't meet those expectations one can be replaced. THAT's what a job is, a simple process the vast majority of us have all been through. Not Rump. He's been handed everything all his life and has never had to meet ANYBODY's expectations, because in his world of self-delusion he just makes it up, and presto, would means wouldn't and Fred Trump was born in Germany.

Fuck that delusional shit.

As for Sanders -- a candidate (Senator, before that Congressman, before that Mayor) has to present himself to voters in the same way, and then meet their expectations or get voted out. He's done that for forty years, earning the highest approval rating of anyone in the US Senate.

But forget all that, let's have Jim Huckster Hoft tell us about dirt floors in the 19frickin'70s.

Your entire criticism of Trump is rife with your own personal bias. What are the "actual" jobs that Sanders had prior to being elected to office that you feel better qualifies him for the presidency?

Nope, it's entirely comprised of recorded history --- though I did deliberately conflate "astonishingly excellent" with the bone spurs as a way of wrapping two frauds into one, but both of them were real too.

I didn't opine on whether Sanders is qualified for the Presidency. I took the OP to school for his asinine standards of past employment histories. But as far as a comparison, ANYONE ANYWHERE who has actually held a job or position of responsibility, trumps (hee hee) a slacker who has not, all by itself.

When your Daddy makes you a multi millionaire at the age of 3 you don't need a job Trump wouldn't have qualified for one anyway Was money laundering a subject at Wharton?

I don't see why you have an issue with the fact that someone was given a million dollars and was able to turn it into a billion dollars multiple times, other than the fact nobody did it for you.
Even with those billions Taz I know I couldn't turn out like that perverted bully With all the people and institutions he screwed I can see him making those billions you speak of

"A" million? Singular? Why are you deliberately understating it?

Financial whizzes by the way have figured out that Rump would have ended up with the same amount of money had he put his enormously bigly ego in the back seat and simply invested it like anybody else, so he didn't "turn it into" jack shit other than a myth that the Gullibles will line up to buy like snake oil.

Did Sanders accomplish that?

Sanders can't even get a bill through congress. He is a FAILURE at every level of human existance, except for getting his do nothing a** re-elected.

If Trump can not beat him, Trump can NOT beat anyone!

Accomplish what? Mislead gullibles about his personal worth? Nope, he actually released his taxes.

Of course, how much money somebody has made over their life is in no way a qualification for PUBLIC service, that being all PRIVATE stuff, but if you did want to compare that it's entirely plausible that Sanders has done way better at it than Rump. We hear literally every day on this site about "waah he's a millionaire" (despite this thread trying to have it both ways presenting him as a pauper), and he certainly benefited from writing a book, but he started with nothing as compared to an orange freak whose entire effort was mumbling "sure Dad I'll take these umpteen million dollars for doing nothing, why not".

Wow.... I never knew much about Burnie's background. And why would I? I don't know much about the homeless losers under the 377 bridge either. He sounds like the quite a threat to the Trump dynasty.

LOL Ed, then you are certainly not lost, and a true pragmatist. The real American way, and I support it 100%!

I know you despise Trump for whatever reason, but I will surely watch your posts if BERNARD gets the DNC nod. Will hate over ride self preservation? Enquiring minds want to know, and you may tell us the answer to that question-)

I can't vote for anyone but Biden

Old Communist who honeymooned at a Russian nudist colony
Back in 1988 Bernie Sanders and his socialist wife, Jane, took their honeymoon to Soviet Russia for some drunken fun with friends. In the video, a shirtless-pantsless Bernie Sanders (who still looks like he's 75 years old) sings "This land is our land" while he gets drunk (probably on vodka) and praises communism.

And why despise Trump?? Let me count the ways I despise him from the bone spurs to his wig and orange face ,for his perverted attacks on women, for his bullying vengeful ways , for his uneducated ways of dealing with our foreign affairs, for him thinking he's a king not a rep for all the people I could fill a page but don't want to bore you

I dunno Ed, while I think Klobuchar is a phony, she sounds almost like Biden. Mayor Pete, not so much.

As you can tell, I am watching this DNC nomination process closely; not because I am interested in the outcome, but rather if they can't get Biden, how they are going to circumvent the rules to get somebody they want.

I know you don't want to hear it, and probably think I am blowing smoke, but I do feel sorry for people like you. It has to be very hard.

As I tell all of my Democratic friends...……..and yes, I do have them...………..give me a Kennedy or Bubba Clinton, and I will give you a Democratic vote!

They tell me the country has changed. I ask them how it has so much, that they would support someone like Sanders or Warren. All I get back is crickets, or a threat to throw their drink in my face.

Again, Trump aside, I feel for people like you.

He thinks women want to be raped by three men
Is it true, that one of Don's x-wives started to charge him with rape until he paid her off like his other whores?

Reminder: Bernie Sanders A Bum Who Didn’t Earn His First Steady Paycheck Until He Was 40 Then Wormed His Way Into Politics
bernie-sanders-59.jpg

(Gateway Pundit) – As Socialist Bernie Sanders continues to take control in the Democrat Party Primary here is a good reminder of this man’s shameful record.

* * * * * * * * * *

Bernie Sanders was a bum who didn’t earn a steady paycheck until he was 40 years old. He was a slob who lived in a shack with a dirt floor. He later wrote about masturbation and rape for left-wing rags for $50 a story. The Socialist then wormed his way into politics.

bernie-sanders-1.jpg

Bernie had his electricity cut off a lot so he’d run an extension cord down to the basement. He couldn’t pay his bills.

And today he’s running for president so he can take your money and redistribute it.

Investor’s Business Daily reported:

Sanders spent most of his life as an angry radical and agitator who never accomplished much of anything. And yet now he thinks he deserves the power to run your life and your finances — “We will raise taxes;” he confirmed Monday, “yes, we will.”

One of his first jobs was registering people for food stamps, and it was all downhill from there.

Sanders took his first bride to live in a maple sugar shack with a dirt floor, and she soon left him. Penniless, he went on unemployment. Then he had a child out of wedlock. Desperate, he tried carpentry but could barely sink a nail. “He was a shi**y carpenter,” a friend told Politico Magazine. “His carpentry was not going to support him, and didn’t.”

Then he tried his hand freelancing for leftist rags, writing about “masturbation and rape” and other crudities for $50 a story. He drove around in a rusted-out, Bondo-covered VW bug with no working windshield wipers. Friends said he was “always poor” and his “electricity was turned off a lot.” They described him as a slob who kept a messy apartment — and this is what his friends had to say about him.

The only thing he was good at was talking … non-stop … about socialism and how the rich were ripping everybody off. “The whole quality of life in America is based on greed,” the bitter layabout said. “I believe in the redistribution of wealth in this nation.”

So he tried politics, starting his own socialist party. Four times he ran for Vermont public office, and four times he lost — badly. He never attracted more than single-digit support — even in the People’s Republic of Vermont. In his 1971 bid for U.S. Senate, the local press said the 30-year-old “Sanders describes himself as a carpenter who has worked with ‘disturbed children.’ ” In other words, a real winner.

He finally wormed his way into the Senate in 2006, where he still ranks as one of the poorest members of Congress. Save for a municipal pension, Sanders lists no assets in his name. All the assets provided in his financial disclosure form are his second wife’s. He does, however, have as much as $65,000 in credit-card debt.

Sure, Sanders may not be a hypocrite, but this is nothing to brag about. His worthless background contrasts sharply with the successful careers of other “outsiders” in the race for the White House, including a billionaire developer, a world-renowned neurosurgeon and a Fortune 500 CEO.

The choice in this election is shaping up to be a very clear one. It will likely boil down to a battle between those who create and produce wealth, and those who take it and redistribute it.

So it only makes sense that Democrats would look to Bernie to be their leader.

As an unaffiliated voter in Colorado, I can vote in either the Republican or Democratic primary. I filled out my democratic ballot today for Bernie.

Why? At this point, he looks like a possible winner of the nomination and the easiest to beat in a general election. Even if the economy busts before November (a strong possibility IMO), I can’t see a socialist/communist winning.

The economy won't tank before November. As long as there are more jobs than job applicants, any slowdown won't be felt like it was before.
