Oh and take a look around and notice that you have a POTUS who not only paints himself orange but until three years ago never held a job in his life. As I always said, what a great plan, take a doofus who's never had a job or any position of responsibility at all, including military.. parenting... stiffing investors with bankruptcies... and plunk him into the most responsible job in the world. What a great plan, what could POSSIBLY go wrong.
While it can validly be argued whether or not the presidency is the right job for Donald Trump, how can you legitimately equate Bernie's history to his?
I don't. Not at all.
Sanders has held actual jobs. That seems to be where the OP desperately tries to reach to with his scrape-scrape-scrape of dirt floors in the 1970s.
Trump has built multiple business empires that were very successful along with some that weren't. I don't see how Sanders' "actual" jobs in the past are even a remotely valid comparison.
Rump didn't build shit. He stood still while Daddy stuffed his pockets with cash he scammed from the government. Then he whizzed it away on airlines and casinos and vitamins where you send in your pee and the collapse of the USFL, festooned his name on buildings and then went "I didn't run the company, I only licensed my name", stiffed employees, stiffed creditors, stiffed Stormy Daniels, stiffed the draft with fake doctor notes about astonishingly excellent bone spurs, any way at all to weasel out of responsibilities. Weaseled out of discriminating against black renters too, then did it again, under the tutelage of the Master Weasel Roy Cohn. The asshole has never taken responsibility for a damn thing in his life, can't even bring himself to admit he said "Tim Apple" or snubbed Missouri when Kansas City won a title.
He didn't build shit except that reputation, and it's a damn seedy one.
Having an actual job on the other hand requires presenting one's best self to a prospective employer, knowing one may or may not get that position, and if one does get it having to meet somebody else's expectations continuously, whether one feels like it or not, knowing that if one doesn't meet those expectations one can be replaced. THAT's what a job is, a simple process the vast majority of us have all been through. Not Rump. He's been handed everything all his life and has never had to meet ANYBODY's expectations, because in his world of self-delusion he just makes it up, and presto, would means wouldn't and Fred Trump was born in Germany.
Fuck that delusional shit.
As for Sanders -- a candidate (Senator, before that Congressman, before that Mayor) has to present himself to voters in the same way, and then meet their expectations or get voted out. He's done that for forty years, earning the highest approval rating of anyone in the US Senate.
But forget all that, let's have Jim Huckster Hoft tell us about dirt floors in the 19frickin'70s.
Your entire criticism of Trump is rife with your own personal bias. What are the "actual" jobs that Sanders had prior to being elected to office that you feel better qualifies him for the presidency?
Nope, it's entirely comprised of recorded history --- though I did deliberately conflate "astonishingly excellent" with the bone spurs as a way of wrapping two frauds into one, but both of them were real too.
I didn't opine on whether Sanders is qualified for the Presidency. I took the OP to school for his asinine standards of past employment histories. But as far as a comparison, ANYONE ANYWHERE who has actually held a job or position of responsibility, trumps (hee hee) a slacker who has not, all by itself.
