Only one word describes this fine day....................... WINNING!!

Without question the biggest winner were the American workers and taxpayers. Without question. This agreement was a bloody joke. I would honestly be personally insulted if a leader from another country tried to sell this to me.

In effect, President Donald Trump has stood with a real scientist, Richard Lindzen, and with the American people, and kicked the socialists and global governance crowd to the curb.

"....misunderstanding the science of climate, plus a willingness to debase climate science into a triangle of alarmism.

Ambiguous scientific statements about climate are hyped by those with a vested interest in alarm, thus raising the political stakes for policy makers who provide funds for more science research to feed more alarm to increase the political stakes.

After all, who puts money into science--whether for AIDS, or space, or climate--where there is nothing really alarming? Indeed, the success of climate alarmism can be counted in the increased federal spending on climate research from a few hundred million dollars pre-1990 to $1.7 billion today. It can also be seen in heightened spending on solar, wind, hydrogen, ethanol and clean coal technologies, as well as on other energy-investment decisions.

But there is a more sinister side to this feeding frenzy. Scientists who dissent from the alarmism have seen their grant funds disappear, their work derided, and themselves libeled as industry stooges, scientific hacks or worse. Consequently, lies about climate change gain credence even when they fly in the face of the science that supposedly is their basis."

America First!!

:dance::dance::dance:

USA! USA! Thank the Lord Clinton didn't win. $20T in debt and the rest of the world wants more blood from the underworked and downtrodden tax payers of the West, in particular America. For the "benefit" of a possible decrease of 2/10th of 1% by the year 2100!!??!?!? How high was the guy who signed up for this deal?

Money manages the mind of the conservative today, and fossil fuels is big money. Notice how Trump bowed to the Saudis and sold them bombs, then when faced with real leaders such as Merkel he gets his panties all bunched up. Draft dodger Donnie is all about making money as president and he knows where it comes from. Although the Kochs didn't favor him before these stupid decisions, now he may get loans from them rather than from Russia. Interesting huh.

Topic is covered here excellently: "Dark Money: The Hidden History of the Billionaires Behind the Rise of the Radical Right" Jane Mayer

Nice deflection. What is about this announcement today that made ANY rich and powerful happy?
Other than casting off the "no growth is good growth" policies of Progressives??

Why is reducing pollution a bad thing?

It's not a bad thing, but we have to be smart with our money and get as much bang for the buck as we can. Spending hundreds of billion over the rest of this century and only getting 2/10ths of one degree in less warming just doesn't cut it. Especially when we don't know where our money is going or what it'll be used for. I'll be damned if I want some UN buttfuck deciding how much of our money they get to spend and who gets it.
