For Dad and my Uncles

I was born later, but had uncles on Guadalcanal, and later in Berlin.

My Dad was in, but got screwed as the AAC had too many pilots. He never got to go.

My grandfather served in ww2 but I thank goodness every day he was NOT in Europe and did not have to fight our racial brothers. He was in the Pacific with the Marines,My father served right after Vietnam from 76-80 and my great grandfather was in world war 1. On my mothers side my one uncle served in the first gulf war and now one of his daughters and his son are in the Air Force. One in South Korea and one in Czech Republic. I also had ancestors that fought in War for Southern Independence on the RIGHT side and am thankful for them the most.

My parents were teenagers in occupied Belgium and remember well the relief and thanks they felt upon liberation by Allied troops and the fear that it might be be starting all over again during the Battle of the Bulge.
