When they arrived on the scene they found a 29-year-old man laying outside a car that was riddled with bullets. The man had a gunshot wound to the leg and was taken to Christus Southeast Texas St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. His injuries are not life-threatening.
Police say they believe the gun used was some sort of an assault rifle. There is no word on any suspects at this time.

No...actually, since he has been releasing violent felons, and since his prosecutions of federal gun crimes is down over 30% and he is allowing criminal illegals into the country, and now as he supports black lies matter and forcing police to back down in the face of violent offenders....the violent crime rate in democrat voting districts is rising......a lot......
