"Former Speaker Gingrich Outlines Judicial Coup D’etat to Congress

At today’s House Judiciary Committee hearing, former Speaker Newt Gingrich spoke about judicial overreach in lower federal courts blocking President Trump’s actions. WATCH:"

Congress can simply get rid of these courts or judges, if the SCOTUS does nothing. Judicial tyranny cannot stand.

Congress will dictate that district judge rulings are only for that specific district unless the USSC supports it.

Roberts could do this with a simple notice, and should have already.

The Supreme Court will support the District court rulings or they have to actually hear every single case which would be impossible for them to do.

I don't understand how it's so difficult for some to understand that these are FEDERAL judges. They rule on FEDERAL issues.

District courts were created by Congress, not by the Constitution.

Congress or the USSC can limit their authority to just their district to stop intruding on a president's Article 2 power.

The USSC doesn't need to hear every case. If they let the District ruling stand, it stands in just that district, if the USSC wants a nationwide injunction, they can issue a ruling in support of the District judge.

I never said otherwise.

The president doesn't have the powers to over ride the Constitution.

Impossible. Constitutional rights aren't selective.

/---/ Because democRATs can do the same thing to us next time they seize control of Congress.
Not really. They have to have a reason. Maybe they can convince 200 federal judges to stage a riot at the Capital on Jan 6th 2029 if a Democrat wins back the presidency.

Judges don't have the power to override the Constitution either, but they will continue to try to block Trump until somebody does something about it.

/----/ democRATs are well organized when it comes to violence.

You are assuming they are blocking the Constitution just because Trump is doing it. The be all end all King of America.

It is not judicial overreach if the Republicans get a TRO against a Democratic president, but it is when it is the other way around.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

Next up on the authortarian checklist: Control and intimidate the courts.
Silence all opposition. Media intimidation, next. Then, go after the most vulnerable, such as green card holders who dare speak out against the regime. The next will be the citizens as history has shown.

It would help if Congress would get off its butt, legislate, and move away from government by executive orders and federal courts. The last time Congress earned their keep was when the Republicans ran on their Contract with America platform and got down to business. These days with their congressional hearings and finger pointing they're just wasting time and milking the system.

I agree with this. Much of the issue is Congress doesn't actually want to do it's job.

They don't want to be held accountable for what happens.

Millions on investigation. A dog and pony show and then drop it.
