That's the thing. Once mail in ballots are separated from the envelopes there is zero way to determine if they're valid or not. A rigged voting machine can just as easily be unrigged just as soon as whatever was intended has been accomplished. With no secure chain of custody or bipartisan verification, there will always be valid questions.

Is that proof of voter fraud? No. But given the unexplained and unexplainable circumstances that swirled around so much of this election and appearance of impropriety, millions are not confident that most was on the up and up.

We need to put a system in place that the electorate can be confident their vote was counted and was counted as they voted.

The ONLY reason anybody would not want that is to be able to cheat.
