ADP Private Jobs Plunge, Miss; Fall For Fifth Month In A Row | Zero Hedge

Wow a shitty economy getting shitier...funny how around Nov it spiked hmmmmmmmmm....all those fake projections....wow

Funny, I thought the "Great and powerful OBarry" had provided us with 80 million jobs thus far??? I thought unemployment had plunged to -19 percent??

I guess that statement that "all is well" is just more liberal hooey......

obama's labor department must be working overtime to cook the unemployment numbers.

Nah that's only close to an election.......they just spike up out of nowhere

well, it couldn't be because of sequestration, because public sector employees never use private sector goods and services, right?

ADP is notoriously off from the real numbers, though they are getting a little better. We'll have to wait and see what the official report says tomorrow.

As for increase in jobs, let's look at the relevant dates:
Seasonally Adjusted Total Non-farm Payroll Jobs.
Jan 2008: 138,056,000 Height of jobs before the recession kicked in.

Jan 2009: 133,631,000 Obama takes office (starting down 4.4 million jobs)

Feb 2010: 129,320,000 Job market bottoms out,
Down 8,736,000 since pre-recession,
Down 4,311,000 since Obama took office

March 2013: 135,195,000 Tomorrow the April report comes out and the March number will be revised, but as of now, it's
Down 2,861,000 since Jan 2008,
UP 1,564,000 since Obama took office, and
UP 5,875,000 since the bottom.

Private Sector has done a little better:
Down 2,338,000 since Jan 2008
UP 2,282,000 since Jan 2009
UP 6,480,000 since the bottom in Feb 2010

Not great, but things have been improving, although a lot slower than anyone would like.

note, this is assuming 175,000 job growth as the lowest growth per month which from Feb. to March the job growth was only 88,000 jobs.

yeah, that's because Reid cant pass a fucking budget.....how hard is that to do?
second do you really think the economy is good? Wow liberals are more brainwashed than I thought

How come the "job creators" aren't doing their thing? The market's up ~12% since the beginning of the year. It's not Obama's job to create the jobs or so we've been told whenever a stimulus package is passed. Where are they creating the jobs, Bangla Desh? I hear they're big on non-union construction jobs there!!!

Well taxes went up, and regulation goes up......so why hire people?

You know jobs arent created just because someone wants them to be....

That's why liberals have a hard time understanding it.....you have to make money off of a job as a business AND you have to be certain about the economy and with higher taxes and more regulation, noone knows what the rules are and if they'll make any money....so they dont hire

Profits are going up too. They want it all? They want a third world economy where collapsing building are a part of doing business?? What about a 12% increase in the first third of the year is so hard to understand? What's enough? Taxes and regulation couldn't be hurting all that bad or the market would be going down. The ones that don't know the rules are dumber than dirt and are dragging the job market down.. You must be one of them, if you think we're going to accept that it's all Obama's fault.

There is that. There is also the chaos surrounding this ACA crap. Employers aren't going to do squat until the debacle that is the ACA is figured out....but hell, that could conceivably take 50 years......

yeah, ACA is full of taxes and regulations and noone knows what's in it..even they people who voted FOR it......

Liberals show their sheepish mentality when they dont want an open debate on policy and have no problem rushing it through

Of course liberals don't want an "open debate" on the ACA. They proved that when they passed it without ONE Republican vote. Now that this mess is coming to fruition and employers are wading through over 15,000 pages of redundant regulations (because after all, isn't that the way liberals "govern") even the mongoloids who passed the bill are saying "ooops".........

Yes, sequestration that cut… well… nothing from the end budget. Instead, we got a 420 billion dollar increase instead of a 500 billion dollar increase.

Of course, the only thing that actually did retract was military spending but that was a small amount and those cuts you actually support so….
