Fox's Eric Bolling Now A Food Stamp Truther

After dedicating his opening segment to attacking the alleged dependency culture of younger generations, Fox News' Eric Bolling waded into an error-filled tirade against food assistance.

On the August 8 edition of Fox News' Your World, Bolling, who was filling in for host Neil Cavuto, was joined for a panel discussion of "food stamps" (officially known as the Supplement Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP). Fox contributors Jedediah Bila and Julie Roginsky debated the merits of the food assistance program, with Bila often making wildly inaccurate claims in her attempt to smear recipients and chastise alleged waste.

Bolling and Bila parroted numerous demonstrably false claims over the course of just a few minutes. First, Bolling falsely claimed that the budget for food assistance is $80-100 billion. In fact, the SNAP budget for fiscal year 2012 was $74.6 billion.

Hell, he was only 5000% off...

1. The dependancy culture of america's youth isn't alleged, it's true.
2. Your math is appallingly bad. 74.6 Billion is not 5000% off of 80 Billion.

Dumbass.

Leftists cannot win arguments by being honest, that's just a fact. They hide behind labels of absolute deception, and foist upon their enemies the same lies and attempt to present these untruths as stylish facts.

Food Stamp Truther is among the most stupid bullshit hit jobs I have ever seen. How does it feel to be a lying piece of shit? Think you're winning points, asshole? Go fuck yourself, liar.

Partisan algebra: in order to figure the percentage difference take the actual difference, multiply it by a 1000 and round down.

I take it you were asleep the day they taught that in College?

On a serious note, the 5000% wasn't derived from the differential between Bollings claim on the budget and the actual budget it was based on the Bollings random GUESS that waste, fraud and abuse in the SNAP program was 50% when the actual reported number is 1%.

'Generation Gimme.' We have become an entitlement culture. But it's not just young people who have that mentality. His assessment for the most part is correct. Too many of our Citizens feel it's perfectly acceptable to steal from fellow Citizens because they feel they deserve it and are entitled. But one day that mentality will have to change. This current Welfare/Warfare State cannot be sustained. The Collapse is inevitable.

All that being said, not all young people are Entitlement Whiners. I would say most are, but many aren't. There is a rapidly growing number of young people who truly value Freedom & Liberty and don't believe in stealing from their fellow Citizens. Right now they're the minority, but one day they may be the majority. I hope so anyway. So let's not be in such a rush to condemn all young people as being Entitlement Whiners.
