I took a look at the list of restaurants giving free meals to vets, and I figure I can eat all day for nothing.

Oh, a quick note: Don't make us all look bad, fellas. Be sure to tip your server at least 20 percent for the value of the meal.

I'm a Vet and I don't need a free freaking meal thank you. I like the parking space that Lowe's offers to Veterans though. I carry my dog tag on my car keys and a very old discharge I.D.in case I am challenged.

I'm a Vet and I don't need a free freaking meal thank you. I like the parking space that Lowe's offers to Veterans though. I carry my dog tag on my car keys and a very old discharge I.D.in case I am challenged.

Some Lowe's and Home Depots offer a ten percent discount to veterans year round.

I carry my retiree ID at all times.

There are only two things I miss about the Deep South. I was stationed down there for a few years.

I also have two ex-wives from there.

No, they aren't the two things I miss!

To this day, I don't care how gorgeous a woman is, if she starts talking and has a Southern accent, I feel my libido instantly collapse.

Anyway, the two things I miss. I miss the catfish (fried or blackened), and I miss Waffle House.

But after work the only thing I care about is getting out of the traffic and getting home......so I can do the deed again in the morning..........Gonna miss the Alabama versus LSU game because I work tomorrow .........grrrrr.

I usually get the steak and eggs......with grits meal..........most of the time...........But the omelets are great too.

I’ve got a pic of my DD 214 on my phone. Have thought now and then what I’d do if anyone ever challenged if I really deserved to park there. Probably depend on their attitude whether I oblige them or tell ‘em to fuck off.
