The jury returned guilty for posing with a corpse, but IIRC the images were taken from a helmet cam, so that is kind of sketchy to me.

What is self-contradictory to me is that a well trained SEAL is capable of killing any civilian in unarmed combat, even MMA folks, so what is the point of posing with a dead teenage kid?

It makes no sense and never did.

The very fact that he was so nuts that members of his platoon ignored higher command and reported him says a lot.

That said, charging people with murder in a war zone is like handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500.

Hopefully, the thing they did convict him of will get him a bad conduct discharge before he hurts anyone else.

Glad to see it. I never thought he was guilty.

Loads of things happen when you are fighting a war. The SEAL's fight a secret war that no one ever reads about.

Glad Gallagher was found not guilty.
