Gameover: Hate filmmaker jailed

Oh, shut up.

He violated his probation, just as you violate common sense here: easily and without due thought.

Judge orders 'Innocence of Muslims' filmmaker to jail - latimes.com

He must be executed with his extremist supporters for posing danger to the community.

Incorrect.

He was given mercy by the justice system, released from prison and put on probation. He apparently violated his probation. Personal responsibility, get some.

He violated nothing. He's being used as whipping boy by the dictator Obama.

The man's in prison for violating the terms of his parole, NOT for making that video.

Do you think the radicals in the Middle Eat know that or do you think that they believe that they forced the might USA to capitulate to their demands? Do you think the next time someone in the US burns a koran or draws a cartoon or puts ole Mo in a bear suit that we won't see violence in the M.E. trying to force us to punish the perpetrator?

Making the movie didn't violate his probation. He is a free to make a movie as you are free to whip out your cell phone and film the next youth beating.

If he violated his probation, that would be limited to uploading the video to You Tube. If they can prove he did it. For the original sentence he got 21 months. He has served part of it, he was on probation for part of it. How much is left for him to serve out of that 21 month (less than two year) sentence?

There is little doubt that this whole thing is ginned up to make this low level criminal public enemy number one. It just doesn't look like they can take it very far.

The guy is a coward who made an anti Islamic film and then was too gutless to show his face.

OK, but what danger did that pose? What MADE people react? How can one make another believe anything? Isn't it choice?

Of course it is a choice what people believe in, but there are a few people who take their religion very seriously.
I don't think any religion should be mocked - especially in a movie based on lies.

What about the Aztec religion based on human sacrifice? Something like that should be respected? 'Mock' may be a strong word to you, but if someone detects a major defect in an idea of whatever sort, they is no need to give 'mock' credence or respect to it.

The judge cited a "lengthy pattern of deception," including making false statements to probation officials. "The court has a lack of trust in the defendant at this time," Judge Suzanne H. Segal said, adding that he posed "some danger to the community."

Does anyone else smell bullshit?

No doubt exists that katznddogz is ginning a lawful revocation of probation as somehow an assault on our free speech rights.

What a doofus.

Every time you post, we smell BS.

Could this post possible imply that the man should not have been incarcerated for breaking parole IN ORDER to demonstrate to 'the Islamic world' that American law is above outside influence? (!?)

he was thrown in jail because he continues to use alias names, which is against the terms of his probation. No one is losing to free speech. He is considered a flight risk and is being held until they can sort out his probation violations.

no, must be your breath or mustache

About as possible as the sun coming up in the west . . .

Do you really think that in California, where they are dumping people out of the jails for overcrowding that a probation violation for "possibly" uploading a video would land you back in jail without bond if it were being handled as a normal case?
