EU wants to break dependence on Russian gas. We can help. This new agreement between Israel Egypt and UAE will allow large scale gas exports to Europe. Certainly a step forwards.

Well you could begin by recommissioning nuclear reactors if you want to stop buying Russian gas....

Much better to use the UK's Natural resources for green power....and much cheaper for us then.
The UK is about twice as self-sufficient as most europeans as far as energy, but it still has a ways to go. Renewables will lead the way (although calling some of them green is arguable), but more out of the North Sea and more nuclear are still going to be a big part of the mix.

To which price?
Ten times expensive of course?

That's because Russia is holding a going out of business sale on all petroleum products, selling them at such deep discounts because of the reluctance of banks to facilitate sales of Russian petroleum products for fear of present and coming US/EU sanctions.

Wherever people are if they do not start getting off fossil fuels yesterday, we can forget everything else. That is the most important thing. In the meantime there are people who hardly have any blame for the situation we are in now who need monetary help to do what they need to in preparation.

Developing Countries Need Urgent Support to Adapt to Climate Change

There is something though a bit fishy about that article as it claims to be written on 12th October 2022 and unless I have had a very long sleep we are not there yet. That being said the US/UK and the EU all have put in a lot to make the situation as it is now and have enjoyed almost all the benefits yet we are slow in giving those who have mainly been harmed not helped the money they need to get their house in order.

Last think I want to ask you. You apparently live in the US but you are always in here claiming your knowledge is better than whoever you are replying too when you don't even live here. What gives?

At the Congress of "Free Russia", which will be held in Vilnius, delegates will have to solve a very difficult task. How, this winter, on the example of free Europeans, who, on orders from Washington, were forced to voluntarily give up heat, light and food, to convince Putin's slaves that they live in a poor country, with full refrigerators, warm homes and cheap gasoline....

ITS crazy that it took so long, why did they want a pipeline ? LNG is much better , you can sell wherever you want

ps
the horde 🐷 🇷🇺KAPUT ))) With cost of “black gold” at 15-23 dollars per barrel, the USSR economy collapsed, and the sovok itself collapsed, and the "golden" horde ("russia") budget can only be fulfilled only with oil price at $ 42.4 and higher

Moscow's oil and gas revenues are growing not despite, but thanks to sanctions, French journalist Francois Langle said in an author's program on the Luxembourg RTL channel.
A reporter specializing in economic topics said that Russia does not need financing, since after the introduction of sanctions due to the special operation in Ukraine, its revenues from the export of these energy resources increased by 40 percent.
"Russia is literally swims in money. <...> Not despite, but thanks to the sanctions that raised prices, unleashing market speculation. A little less volume at much higher prices, which means a lot more money," the economist explained.
Langley added that sanctions have allowed Russia to make money, while oil and gas buyers in the West are forced to tighten their belts and fight rising inflation.

"The closure of the Russian Nord Stream-1 gas pipeline creates a 20% shortage of fuel supplies in Europe"

And the krauts have already spent more than 10 yards of greenery on an expensive american shale gas. The Euroeconomics is being transplanted to a аmerican resource needle.

It is not surprising that the $ is rising and the euro is falling - the euro is being robbed

""The Norwegian company Equine NASA states that the European energy trade is experiencing difficulties due to margin calls worth at least $ 1.5 trillion. The total margin stakes of the Lehman Brothers crisis amounted to $600 billion"
Once again, one wonders how much the prosperity of the golden billion depended on the unprecedented extortionate export of capital by russian thieves' capital. The cornerstone of the house of cards

BTW, what is Russian thieves' capitalism? This is when you rob the country and the people during the day, taking the loot offshore to the West, and in the evening, beating yourself with a hoof in the chest and scream on the air about your love for this very people and hysteria about hatred of the West

EU countries have paid $1.12 trillion for natural gas over 2.5 years.

Before the sanctions were imposed, a similar amount ($1.35 trillion) was enough for Europe to purchase gas for 10 years.

With the help of LNG, the U.S. is leaching the EU's wealth - the trade deficit will amount to a record €432 billion.
