Gasoline to rise 0.50 cent p/gal monday, nationwide more increases to follow quickly

Just from a national civil defense perspective this makes no sense to have that much refining in such a small area.......1 large nuke on houston and our armies and Air forces are useless

No choice really. Refineries are here because this is the best place for them. Some reasons are historical. Some political and economic. But mostly nature says they go here. The Gulf. Fresh water. Mild climate.

Look at you last two words in your statement...Not this last one, the one before, you mention "mild climate" as a reason for refineries in Texass...

Of course, conservative action would neutralize the paucity. Driving less and more moderately (conservatively) would aid things. Conserving resources contributes to true wealth, which is why excessive vehicle size is so anti-conservative. All those radicals rolling around in recklessly are destroying what needs to be preserved; the health and safety of America, its children and the future.
