Germany mocks Trump and all of MAGA world

Coal rolling!

You get the opportunity to admire our socialist coal plant Boxberg!

The chimneys are 300 meter tall. Largest coal plant on the continent. 110K tons of coal a day.

Yup.
And liberals seem to want to keep them going.
Yes.
The rest of us are tired of funding the MIC and the oligarchs getting rich from perpetual war.
Not tired enough it seems. But soon. Soon. If you elect Trump (and you will if it's a fair vote) then the US will be on the road to a better future. And even if Trump doesn't drain the whole swamp the American people will get a feeling for how it's done so they can carry on the good work.

Green party losses in EU elections raise concerns over Green Deal

In Germany, a core Green stronghold, the party’s vote share appears to have nearly halved since the last election in 2019. Exit polls suggested it fell 8.5 percentage points from 20.5% to 12%.
Going green isn't a bad idea but when your life is being torn apart who's going to give a shit what colour your energy is? Dissolve NATO, reform the EU, hook the pipe line back up, make friends with Russia and kick the Yankees out on their asses. Make Europe Great Again!

In Germany .... many households are either unwilling or unable to devote funds to upgrading the energy efficiency of their homes. ..... Deutsche Bank AG, meanwhile, says only a tiny fraction of its residential customers are currently eligible for green loans.'
Between a rock and a hard place?

The german government is subsidizing electricity rates. Too many corporations goin bankrupt or moving out of europe
Electricity prices remain at a high level, harming the competitiveness of German companies. The ‘electricity price package’ presented by the Federal Government is to offer additional relief to energy-intensive and manufacturing companies. A brief overview of the key points.

And it will be shut down before 2035.
It has been reduced, anyway. They want to get rid of coal by 2038 but that depends on the expansion of renewable energies. If that isn´t successful, for example due to delays and increased energy demand by more electric vehicles or even electric heating then coal might be needed for longer.

That’s the country that gave the world Hitler.

The truth is strange
Wind turbines are being dismantled to make way for a massive coal mine expansion in Germany, and Canada’s largest bank RBC is helping pay for it using “sustainable” finance.

Wind Turbines are a complete failure

Germany’s wind industry is now demolishing wind turbines faster than it can build them. During 2020, the Germans managed to add a paltry 200 new wind turbines to its fleet of over 30,000. Meanwhile, hundreds have already been demolished and – with hundreds more reaching the end of their economic life – the only growth area in Germany’s renewable energy sector will soon be demolishing them, recycling any metals worth keeping and burying their toxic fragments – including thousands of 10-12 tonne blades – in landfills overseas (probably somewhere in Africa).

I didn´t know they tore down windmills. Kinda funny. They lost a lot of gas due to the Ukraine-Russia conflict.
