in Florida, DeSantis created a quick response task force and made resources available to all nursing homes and elder resident communities

Florida was also one of the last states to initiate quarantines and lockdowns for its citizens; but did suggest common sense restrictions and guidelines for the most vulnerable

Florida has one of the lowest counts in deaths per million of any state; despite a) spring break activity b) extensive travel, including Disney World, an international destination c) a larger % of elderly citizens d) softer restrictions for healthy people than many other states

we all know what is going on in NY; sure, there are some mitigating circumstances; but clearly DeSantis has done far better in his response than Cuomo has

Do not know if story true or not. Knew when the story came out about ordering state nursing homes to accept covid-19 recovering from state hospitals, I knew where this would go. You can talk a good game, but actions speak louder than words his action was in error and speaking on it sounded trumpian.
