Global Capitalism Will Never Lift Workers Out of Poverty, with firms like Apple maximizing labor exploitation while keeping workers chained to poverty

China practices fascism, just like the United States.
No, China has a communist system as it's political leadership, and they permit carefully managed and limited capitalism.

Rational criticism of their highly successful experiment would be applicable on this thread.

Spamming and more profanity are not welcome.

No it doesn't. It gave up on communism a long time ago. China has private corporations and a stock exchange. That isn't communism.

I couldn't care less whether you welcome my profundity.

I cant agree with you on this

Communism is more than just an economic system

Its an inhuman way to treat people and china is communist to the core

You don't understand China's system and I think that's because you aren't capable of understanding much at all.

Over and out!

If 25 million people were lined up for a job, that job would pay minimum wage. Still, no answer how millions and millions all land good paying jobs.

Maybe they all can be managers? Since there is no one under them because they are all managers, there then becomes nothing to manage.
I gave you an answer, several times. Only those who want good paying jobs will get good paying jobs. Those who only want to to work 15 hours per week in fast food are doing that because that is all they want. If you want a good paying job you have to actually want it. Not all jobs should be good paying jobs. There are jobs that pay more and there are jobs that pay less. There are workers who want a good wage and there are workers who don't really want a good wage. Right now there are MANY good paying unfilled jobs out there but some people would rather work at the Walmart down the street than getting a good paying job across town. That's on them.

Bull pucky.

We've discussed it.
I realize that you think all jobs should be good paying jobs. That has never been the case and it never will be. The lefty loonies are already starting to claim that $15 per hour is not a living wage. But, for a history lesson:

The living wage back in 1938 was .25 cents per hour and back in those days just about every family was a one wage earner. Adjusted for inflation that living wage would currently be $5.28 per hour in 2022. Now, remember, that is just with a one wage earner. These days most families have TWO wage earners. So, with two wage earners in the home today, making the $7.25 per hour federal minimum wage, that comes out to $14.50 per hour for a family living wage today while the 1938 living wage for just the one wage earner would be $5.28 per hour, adjusted for inflation. So, a two worker family earning today's federal minimum wage, is actually earning $9.22 per hour more than the inflation adjusted living wage of 1938 of $5.28 per hour for a family.

The median family wage in 1939 was $1226

I'm not interested in your attempts to deflect from not being able to defend your positions.
Defend what positions? I merely speak facts. Are you a fact denier? There have always been good paying jobs and lower paying jobs and that will never change. We don't have socialism. I'd like to earn the same amount as a brain surgeon earns but, guess what? I didn't put in the effort or the time to become a brain surgeon. I also wanted to be an astronomer, an astronaut, an actor, and a baseball or football player. I didn't put the time or effort in for those either. So, I deserve the amount of money I earn today. Why shouldn't the same be true for someone who only aspires to work at Walmart or McDonalds, often just part time? They don't deserve to make a brain surgeon's salary either.

Your argument was that everyone could get a good paying job. No they can not.

I have wrote about this kind of thing here since they day I came here years ago.
And generally received flak from both sides.
This all began as early as the 1970s, but really didn't take hold until the 1980s.
In the 1980s a tectonic shift occurred in large companies throughout the world.
Before the shift Corporate boards main focus was customers.
After the shift, Corporate boards put all of their focus on shareholders. Not customers.
And that is when modern corporatism/globalism began.

And how Americans responded to that shift only GREATLY encouraged corporations to expand on their greed. Because Americans completely lost the meaning of value when buying a product. Price is all that matters. Period.
Thus the book - "The high cost of a low price"

Only loonybird socialists use phrases like "chained to poverty" when they refer to the greatest , freest and most tolerant Nation in the world.

I assume that is a yearly figure. So, the median family wage in 1939 was 1226 per year for a one wage earner. This translates into a little over 26k per year in today's dollars. Today, two wage earners working full time at a $7.25 per hour job would earn a little over 30K per year, an improvement of family earnings over 1939.
