Fuck Mike Vick. Bastard should still be in prison
Prison is too soft a punishment.
But don't worry... soon he'll be sent here:
Prison is too soft a punishment.
But don't worry... soon he'll be sent here:
His career should be over and he should broke and in prison. Fuck him

Have you heard of Brian Orakpo? He's your best shot at what I highlighted
For those of you who came in late... I suspect this might be the basis of OldSchool's ire:
Michael Vick Highlights - Eagles vs Redskins 6 Touchdown Performance [HD][11.15.2010] - YouTube
Again, just a guess.
Don't despair, it could be worse. You could be the New York Jints.

Damn you pogo!!!
I vividly remember exactly where I was that night. Out having a wonderful evening at a Dogfish Head Brewery restaurant in Chantilly, VA. At the time I'd been disgusted with my team for 20+ years (a few years short of MY ENTIRE LIFE).
And then that happened
But yea you're right. Better than being a Jets fan
Good for him. The whole idiocy with that sentencing is incredible.
So getting dogs to kill each other for sport is ok in your book?
That's not OK in anybody's book. But the fact is, Vick did the crime and he did the time, yet some are so vindictive about this they just cannot and will not get over it, even though he's already paid the price.
At what point is enough enough? If doing prison time isn't punishment, then what's the point of doing time at all?
I'm lost as to why the OP describes Vick getting thunderous applause as "bad news". Especially after his chances of being the starting QB was called "good news".

He was into some seriously cruel shit. That's hard for people to forget.

And impossible to forgive.
Pogo, I usually agree and/or respect your pov but not on this one. He tortured dogs for fun and profit and would still be doing it if he had not been caught. He stated that it was just another part of the traditions he grew up with and saw nothing wrong with it.
I won't be surprised when if it turns out that he did what other dog/chicken fighters have done - go deeper underground.
Here he is laying on his favorite place...
... the ground
