GOP Cuckservatives Demand a Third Party Run if Trump Wins GOP Nomination

LOL. And the circus just gets better and better.
They're hellbent on destroying themselves, LOL.
Bernie going third party will do a lot more damage then Bush going third party.
You believe in the tooth fairy too, don'tcha?

Bernie Sanders said:
"If we were serious about winning this election, which is always my intention from day one, I thought we could and I hope that we will. I had to do it within the Democratic primary caucus process. What I did not want to do is run as a third party candidate, take votes away from the Democratic candidate and help elect some right-wing Republican. I did not want responsibility for that. So what I said at the beginning of the campaign is that I was not going to run as an independent. And I say it now, that if I do not win this process I will not run as an independent."

Bill Buckley and Barry Goldwater both warned of this if the GOP pandered to the fundies and extreme right wing.

Well Goldwater was a notorious RINO.

Right?

Seems unlikely. As democrats aren't facing the same internal schism that republicans are. Dems are actually quite unified.

I'm not so sure about that... They might be more "unified" than the Reps perhaps, but there is quite a lot of division in their policies and some spit and vinegar against each other when they debate.

Disagreement in a debate is about as predictable as water being wet. Disagreement in a debate being an indication of imminent collapse is not. Its a rather extraordinary conclusion to draw. And one I don't believe the evidence supports.

mmm perhaps. I'm not sure it's surprising, repubs have split before. It's a hard party because it attempts to balance church with conservative fiscal and such. Dem's have pretty much gone socialist / liberal so there's not a hell of a lot of "inclusion" of other ideas that "differ" like with Repubs. Though I'll give it does make it much easier for voters to simply press D as they'll generally get the same general theme of ideas regardless. Reps you have to sort through a much bigger bag of differences...

You stupid fuck, the mainstream GOP are not conservatives at all. Thread fail.

Bullshit. The public breaks down (self identified) into about 20% liberal, 35% moderate and 45% conservative.

If the GOP has the right side of the spectrum, then 95% of the GOP is conservative and led by a 5% elitist gaggle of pricks, aka GOP elite.

MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!

Are any of those kids from the same mother?

Look how WHITE they are.

How does that answer the question? Were any of Trump's kids' mothers not white?

No, none were non-white. His kids are from two marriages..

And both wives were white as well....dont that kind of lead to an expectation his kids would be white also?

Indeed, and probably well educated as well. I'll wager they are not on EBT either.

Didnt these same morons demand that Trump make a pledge to not split the party? But they are too good for that? BOOT THEM OUT THEN!

The sooner the GOP purges itself of its RINOs and cuckservatives, the better.

Bill Kristol: 'We'll Have to Start' New Party if It's Trump

On Monday, Weekly Standard editor-in-chief Bill Kristol tweeted out what the rest of the Republican establishment is thinking: better Hillary than Donald. Here’s the tweet:

Crowd-sourcing: Name of the new party we’ll have to start if Trump wins the GOP nomination? Suggestions welcome at [email protected]

— Bill Kristol (@BillKristol) December 20, 2015

Kristol isn’t alone. As I wrote at Daily Wire today, Politico’s Jeff Greenfield says, “If the operatives I talked with are right, Trump running as a Republican could well face a third-party run – from the Republicans themselves.” That follows last Thursday’s Politico column from former New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman, who compared Trump to Hitler and called him “evil,” and last Wednesday’s Politico column reporting that Jeb Bush’s aides “began looking into the possibility of making a clear break with Trump – potentially with the candidate stating that, if Trump were the nominee, Bush would not support him.”

This just gets more fun to watch by the day.

The republican party and their clowns are providing wonderful comic relief.

Bill Buckley and Barry Goldwater both warned of this if the GOP pandered to the fundies and extreme right wing.

No Dwight Eisenhower warned about the Military Industrial Complex, he foresaw the whole Neo-Conservative Agenda and what would happen if that sort of filthy ilk got hold of the strings.
Both happened. And the Eisenhower wing of the GOP is in an existential fight for the soul of the GOP with the 'Conservatives'.

I know of one Eisenhower that has left the republican party. I think another one did before she did.

Numbers are hard for you, aren't they?

Oh, I can back it with some pretty sound reasoning. For example 'non-contradicting libertarian doctrine' doesn't take into account private concentrations of power. Which is just naive and profoundly foolish, given that libertarian doctrine recognizes that concentrations of power can be abused. The idea that private concentrations wouldn't be is silly.
Right, I am not blind to abuses from corporations. The worst thing you can do though is give them a government to exploit though.

If you want to change things, you need to fight a war of words, in order to influence the minds and perceptions society has towards corporations. The government can do nothing but make matters worst, if they dare try to alleviate the problem at all.

As for exploitative, look at the periods in our history that most closely matched 'non-contradicting libertarian doctrine'. Which would be the era of the founders and the Guilded age. An era of institutional slavery and indentured servitude where only white property owners could vote in the former, and a systematic exploitation of workers in the latter.
The gilded age is actually the era where corporations influenced the politics of the nation more than anytime in history, contrary to popular belief. Every representative and senator had been bought out, and the nation was remarkably fascist and authoritarian. Things I am dead against.

Both of which Libertarianism strongly encourages.
Well, I am not a libertarian. I am a radical individualist, the less ostracizing way of calling myself an anarchist.

Pure and non-contradicting libertarian doctrine is wildly naive and exploitative. And generally not very attractive to most folks.

I'll tell you what is naive and exploitative.

Naive is thinking that governments are the answer to any of our problems.

Exploitative is having a group of imposed individuals claiming the right to rule over others, because we are so dearly in need of their "protection and guidance"

All total -- 5 kids from 3 wives. You know, the party which champions family values.
