So much for "a mattter for the states". GOP policy seems to be preventing the states from deciding the issue.

Women take note.

It sems to be a flaw of US democracy that these matters can get to this stage.

Ballot measures are an important element of democracy. The states job should be to facilitate this. By offering advice at an early stage they will block GOP anti democratic measures.

Unlikely in Missouri.

I'm sure that Missourians who are hot to trot for Abortion were already going to do that.
Not really. The great majority of women do support abortion choice made by women, including Republican women....

And if it were on the ballot, they could have voted for the protection, while still voting for Republican law makers....now, they don't have that option....

If it gets taken off, the only solution for Missourians is to vote straight D, up and down the ticket!!!
They used a f;imsy method to dump the same measure in Arkansas a few months ago.
If states had case officers to work with citizens to ensure that measures complied with state laws then this would not be a problem.
As it is the suffering continues in these backward hellholes.

Don’t you mean Missouri voters who don’t want their women dying for lack of medical care???

Republican men seem to have no problem with women who are dying as a result of their actions. This is what happens when you give the party of incels and bullies the right to determine women’s lives
