Well the verdict is in. Despite 2 years worth of dire warnings from political advisors who knew better, the Democrats absolutely refused to recognize the problem of affordability in the general circumstances of the median income family. Groceries are a uniting issue.... People of all backgrounds, races and political affiliations have to buy groceries unless of course you're part of the 1% who hire other people to do that sort of thing for them.

Telling people who walk out of the grocery store in frustration having spent all they have and still not being able to fill the larder that they're too stupid to know the economy is good is a very poor strategy. It pisses people off royally.

When 80% of Americans are suffering existentially threatening finances day in and day out, how much does it help to stand there and beat your chest proclaiming that you are comfortable and financially stable and simply do not understand why other people aren't in the same condition? This is the definitive social identity most accurately described by the word "asshole".

This obtuse position is similar to standing on a shore watching a person drown 20 ft ahead of you while telling them at the same time " I don't understand why you're drowning.... I'm not."....

Donald Trump didn't win because he's a genius..... He didn't win because he's a nice guy.... He didn't win because he's a suave and erudite speaker....nope none of those. He won because he listened and responded. Why the hell is that so difficult?

Democrats have brought a whole new meaning to the word spin. Are grocery prices high? Are Americans having a hard time affording to live?

No, the economy's going great! We just weren't good enough at the messaging on how great things are for Americans.

You peasants aren't smart enough to know how good you have it.
While the stores weren't as empty, nor the times as hard as in the old Soviet Union, the party line was much the same.
All to reward the biggest banks, military contractors, and foreign grifters in Kiev and Tel Aviv.

"People are putting their groceries on their credit card," she told the New York Times. "No one is listening to anything else you say if you try to talk them out of their lived experiences with data points from some economists."

When did the tribes start becoming responsible for 80% of the country? Is being an asshole against the law now? If so, most Americans are getting arrested.

we've seen our middle class decline now for quite some time, yes food has become a focus

as an aside, i've seen quite the resurgence of family farms and live off the land sorts up my way

thing is, we've been there before......

When one assumes the mantle of president they are supposed to be the president of everyone. Apparently Democrats didn't get that memo. The people did, that's why you are left whining.

Many believe the orange bag O' shit lies. They have no confidence, trust or respect in whatever he says. Tough shit, I suppose. :dunno:

Prices aren't going to come down if RFK goes after all the food additives.
A tradeoff will be accepted. If the products are made overseas and then come home to be made that may affect the prices somewhat.
