Somehow the solution seems to be restricting law abiding people from having guns. Think that'll work? Nah.

Puerto Rico has the world's highest overall percentage of homicides by firearm, with an estimated more than 90 percent of murders caused by guns. This statistic hasn't stopped the NRA from setting up shop, establishing their 51st chapter in the tropical US territory.

I lived there 90-96, but I was on a military installation, didn't go off post at night even then. Friends tell me it has gotten worse since then.
