There's evidence to show that the gun range owner didn't believe he was better off armed.They would be just as dead if they didn't have the guns...guns gave them a chance.....the guys who went in knew they had guns, and yet, still went in.....knowing they would likely have to shoot them....

Ths gun store owner was most likely unarmed and opposed to being armed to protect himself and his family.

A gun range is like putting a large advert in the local paper saying you keep $1million under your mattress, you then become a target. They could have robbed the store when the owners were not there...they chose to do this with the family on site............they would have murdered them anyway....

Some speculate it may be cartel related as unknown illegals enter the country they may be securing arms for their forces inside the USA as they "set up shop" in the USA the same as they have in South America. This is what Democrats are doing to America.

It doesn't matter too much if you are armed if you are totally taken by surprise and ambushed.
If the cartel wants to kill you, they're not going to advertise it and hesitate. By the time you realize you are going to die it is too late to draw your weapon. Like I already said, the vast majority are clueless as to how easily trained ruthless assassins can kill you, armed or not.
