Because the cost of repair rise every year. Why does your insurance premium on your car go up every year? Because every year it costs more to repair or replace your car if it should be in an accident.

I hate to burst your bubble, but Florida Homeowner's insurance does not cover flooding. If you live in areas subject to flooding, you might want to consider buying flood insurance.

I believe that everyone who owns a home in the United States should be mandated to carry hurricane coverage on their homes to offset the gulf community cost. That's what I believe.

So again explain to a novice like me :
when NOAA closes 600 stations because they've distorted temperatures..

Just say there was a way to add in those weather stations in 12.5% of the Earth's land mass that wasn't included AND remove those 600 stations due to distorted
temperatures... Just what would be then the average increase over the past 100 years?

OH one more skeptical observation about "weather temperature stations" especial PRE-digital age...
How were these temperatures observed and then recorded? A human eyeball was reading the temperature and then physically writing down the recording.
Thousands of people physically reading the temperatures... IS it possible they made some mistakes... either way off too high or off too low?
