Happy 265th Birthday Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart!

One of my favorite mad Germans...
Mozart wasn't German, unless you agree with Adolph Hitler that Austria belongs to Germany.

Do you agree with Hitler?
the native tongue of Mozart was German.
He could be called a Salzburgian
but that is not a nationality.
Salzburg is on the border with Germany Mr Prosl said: "Mozart is naturally an Austrian. ... Mozart was born in Salzburg in 1756 and died in Vienna in 1791. The confusion is caused by the fact that until the founding of the Second Reich in 1871, Germans lived in a confederation of independent city-states allied with the Austro-Hungarian empire
Thus, he was Austrian because the town in which he was born and raised is now in Austria, and because he made his career in Vienna, the Austrian capital. He was German because he felt himself to be German, and because the residual and moribund empire that included Salzburg was labeled as and felt to be German.

I actually liked the movie Amadeus..Even if the actor who played the part was a former member of National Lampoon.
