Well, this can't be whitewashed. She will try with the MSM doing the heavy lifting for her. But it won't work.

Vice President Kamala Harris confirmed Sunday that she was the last person in the room before President Joe Biden made the decision to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan.

In an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on “State of the Union,” Harris was asked about being the last person in the room regarding major decisions, something that Biden has said is important to him in his working relationship with the vice president. Harris confirmed that was the case regarding the move to pull U.S. troops out of Afghanistan by Sept. 11.

The decision to pull all U.S. troops out of Afghanistan was announced earlier this month. American troops have been in Afghanistan since October 2001, when the U.S. invaded in response to the 9/11 attacks the previous month.

I thought it was Trump's decision.

If it wasn't, why did Trump release those 5000 terrorists?

Edit: on a side note, where does the article say she had a key role?

Being the last person in the room when he made the decision, hardly equals having a key role in anything.

Neither of them should be making important decisions about anything at all.

Besides- this isn't something you want to be connected to.

So you noticed the thread title is a lie too?

Good job.

And here we see the general level of the Democrat supporter. Trump wasn't President during the Afghanistan Disaster, that was ALL BIDEN and HARRIS. You're welcome always glad to help.
I'm aware that Trump did make the deal and released 5000 terrorists and then he drew down troop levels to 2500 just before he left office.

2500 hundred troops isn't even close to enough to get all the equipment out in time or protect the people who didn't listen to Biden's warnings to get the fuck out.

The only thing Biden could have done is redeploy more troops that Trump had just brought home and that wasn't really a viable option politically or economically.

Do you think Biden should have redeployed troops to Afghanistan?

I know people think Trump knows more than the generals, but he doesn’t. Had he left Afghanistan it would have been Trump’s disaster

Trump was pretty stupid to leave all that equipment there while simultaneously drawing troop levels down to 2500.

Ironic that as part of the deal he released twice as many terrorists as he left American soldiers deployed when he left office.

Why would Trump expect Biden to spend billions to redeploy troops Trump had just brought home so that we could grab up our equipment?

It doesn't make any sense.

A hypothetical scenario that doesn't change the reality of the Biden / Harris withdrawal. It's all the "If this .. then that" mentality when reality demonstrated a catastrophe that killed 13 servicemen and gifted billions of dollars of military munitions, hardware, vehicles, and ammunition to the Taliban -- which they have been selling to raise cash.

Biden is the one who made the decision, but Harris being the last person in the room means she is the last person to agree or object with Biden's decision before it's put into action.

She probably just let out a big horse laugh

Trump wasn't President at the time.

And are you saying Harris is a liar? I think you are.

Make her own it. She is responsible for the fiasco as much as the vegetable was. Thirteen Americans died as a result of the unforgiveable incompetence. They should both be banished to the scrap heap of American history.

the disastrous withdrawal occurred during the Biden Harris admin .. as did the second invasion of Ukraine and the Oct 6th attack on Israel ..

Trump negotiated a withdrawal that would have been orderly and safe by May. Biden violated the agreement and was forced to do a hurried withdrawal, leaving Americans and billions of taxpayer funded materiel for the enemy to use against us. It was a harbinger of what would become his grossly failed admin.
