Higher gas prices

Did he lie us into Syria?

Yes.

I think the patriot act gave him the power to do what he did. Thank Bush/Chaney for forcing everyone to sign that. If not they got mailed anthrax.

It may have gave him the power but he also argued as Candidate Obama that the Patriot Act needed overturned.

As a senator, Obama condemned the Patriot Act for violating the rights of American citizens.

Barack Obama on mass surveillance - Wikipedia

So after becoming president he decided to further abuse the act. Another in a long list of Obama lies.

He still lied about Syria.

U.S. airstrikes. In his address to the nation on 10 September 2014, U.S. President Obama announced his intention to bomb ISIL targets in Syria and called on Congress to authorize a program to train and arm rebels who were fighting ISIL and the Syrian forces of Bashar al-Assad.

I don't see anything about Republicans believing Obama lied us into this conflict.

Not apples to apples.

When Trump blew up that Iranian general, did he lie us into a war with Iran?

No, but only because Iran was the smarter entity there.

Telling that the Fox report does not say why the prices are high. Here are the reasons and they have nothing to do with Biden:
  • Jim Garrity with AAA East Central says the cold weather could have damaged oil refineries.
  • “That frigid cold did cause gas prices to spike, with refineries in Texas and the Gulf Coast shutting down,” Garrity says.
  • Holiday travel was also a factor with supply and demand.

LOL

Cold weather damaged refineries? Cold weather causing gas prices to spike?

We've had 19 days of over 100 degrees down here. WHAT FUCKING COLD WEATHER IS DAMAGING WHAT FUCKING REFINERIES?

There was a global war going on in 2001, since you obviously are unaware of that too.

Time for Brandon to drain the last of Americas emergency reserves that are already at a 43 year low thanks to Brandon.

This is what you are

A cherry picker.

See you in November. Good luck getting Trumplur elected. Or Hitlump.

The oil companies love to use world events and natural disasters as justification to raise prices. Maybe we should nationalize them or better regulate them. Socialism.

The economy has everything to do with Biden.

The link I posted turned out to be from earlier in the year, I didn't notice when I posted it. Not timely but it shows that not every price spike can be blamed on Biden. I have no idea when the Fox link was from.

I get fuel points at the grocery store I shop also. However, at $3.50 for a gallon of gas, I would have to spend about $7000 dollars to get a "free" tank of gas.
We are probably unusual, being retired and using less gasoline, but still having a grocery bill averaging above $2.10/week. Neither one of us had had to fill up in a while, and had never seen a discount over a dollar off before, usually just averaging in the 40 Cents off range.
Shopping well, though does not change the fact that normal gas prices have risen as much as 40 cents or more in the last month. That rise is surprising as the production continues to increase.

Fuel points, what a scam. They overcharge you for the food then give you your money back (or some of it) at the pump.
We've shopped between Kroger and Wallyworld for years, the Kroger prices not being higher on average, but having a much cleaner store, friendlier more helpful employee and having the brands we like, vs the wallmart brands and other lessor known brands. Good prices and selection is where you find it, but here, it favor Kroger and the fuel points are a great, added benefit with the pumps right there is the same Kroger owned parking lot.

Not here. Wallyworld has stuff my other stores don't have and they annihilate my other local store here often by seemingly 50%! Worse, the other store keeps ripping me off, or at least trying to, charging me for a half pound of peppers (in print) then only giving me half the weighted amount (in print).

Gas prices are always high in the summer. They'll be low right before the 2024 election just like they are before every election. Unless the oil companies want Biden out and a Republican in? That's totally possible.
.

More deflection, please.

It entertains us.

Gotta watch yourself everywhere these days, it seems. There are two Walmart Wallyworlds here. Prices aren't bad, though certainly not saving that kind of money. If saving you that much, there is somebody there local they are trying to put out of business and probably will. The Wallyworld near me has a clientele some where between normal people, the carnival going class, and the thug class liberally in attendance. I don't go there unless armed even in the daytime. I wouldn't be caught dead in Walmart, with a full magazine. There is one about 45 mile away, closer to Memphis where the store manager himself got shot dead in his own front parking lot, but that is probably a Memphis thing. The closer you get to Memphis, the worse it is.

No such problem here. The place is clean, organized, no crime or crazy people to speak of. I can buy an Angus beef cheeseburger there for $2.84. 2 liter cola goes for about $1.40.
