Don't worry world, communist China is a friend to the world.

England in particular must be proud of their great intelligence agencies who pushed the Five Eyes to focus on Russia due to their own domestic problems with them, at the cost of ignoring the obvious threat that every homeless person and former factory worker was aware of: China.

Is the West going to wake up, or are we going to cheer for former "leaders" as they rub shoulders, do media events and hang out every few months at a funeral for other career politicians?

Hong Kong bars 12 pro-democracy candidates from election, citing opposition to security law

Hong Kong’s government said on Thursday 12 pro-democracy candidates had been disqualified from running for election to the legislature, citing opposition to a new national security law imposed by Beijing, but denied infringing civil rights.

Disqualified candidates included pro-democracy activist Joshua Wong, some members of the Civic Party, a moderate, old-guard opposition group, and others who won an unofficial “primary” vote held by the opposition camp this month.
